For you is the absence my lady

Exiled in the wild jungles of the sea

Inhabited by fire

When the music and the blue night

Breathe heavily in your desires for journeys

The clouds of sadness burn in your eyes

And you write in silence

The goddess of love has abandoned me

My place of exile has scattered me

O land of martyrdom

And magnanimity

And tribulations

I have wasted my life

What is between the rites of banishment

And the midday heat of words

To bury my heart

In the lands of light

In the pools of the free soul

How beastly is this sadness!

She said…

She plunged into the planes of sand

She was welcoming, running

She was naked under the rains

Burning with Sufi love

Obscured with rising waves from her eyes

With the radiant, rosy dream

In the secret of resurrection

The music of the night bursts forth

The pain of the flutes penetrates deeply into my voice

I see from the window of the sea

The mirror of broken time

And the coldness of forgotten knocks

What is between the ruins of this abandoned body

And what is between the demise of life and my poetry

She desires her frivolous exile

Taverns of originality and my silence

Blazing in me is the return of passions

I see her behind the veils of my magic world

She pours down between death and the sacred unseen

I whisper in her eyes

You have the absence

On her braids I leaned

I was absent in the remote vastness

For you is the absence my lady

And the absence is my homeland
